Andrew Pierce met Ashley Hudson at the church they both attended in Hamburg. The two knew at that point that they were a match made in heaven. Ashley at the time was just 17 at the time and hadn't had a relationship before, took her time. However, it was true the first time they met. Andrew asked on New Year's Eve right before the new year began in 2016, to God would give him a last blessing this year. Then, Ashley would marry him. Ashley really wanted to do a wooden folk themed wedding, as it represented Andrew along with her. Andrew and Ashley incorporated their most loved items for their wedding. The venue chosen was on the back 40 acres of the land Ashley grew up on. Ashley was familiar with the whole area, having walked through it and playing in the area. Andrew and Ashley walked through the same place when they started together. Being that the wedding was largely DIY, personalization played a big aspect. Andrew and Ashley's Dad made their seating area as well as an arch to be used during the ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decors. Ashley says, "Our wedding would not have been the dreamy experience I've always imagined had Anna's stunning flowers hadn't been created." Absolutely amazing.
